RSD 2025 Release: Delusions of Banjer by Bad Livers

One of our favorite records of all time is Delusions of Banjer, the classic Bad Livers 1992 debut, produced by Paul Leary of the Butthole Surfers.

It hasn't been available on vinyl since its original pressing, and Terminus Records has licensed the record courtesy of Quarterstick Records.

It is with immense pride that we announce Delusions of Banjer has been selected as part of Record Store Day 2025! The album features AAA lacquers cut from the original analog tapes, meticulously remastered by our friend Pete Lyman at Infrasonic Mastering. This Record Store Day exclusive is a limited edition of 1,500 copies on 180-gram colored vinyl.

The Bad Livers' blend of bluegrass, punk, and the "old, weird America" was genuine and played with undeniable conviction. While they had deep roots in traditional music, they approached it with a raw, experimental energy that set them apart. It was bluegrass for misfits, outlaws, and musical adventurers - wild, unpredictable, and unapologetically original.

We hope you'll support Record Store Day on April 12, 2025, by visiting your local independent record store, whether to pick up this title or any other.
